MEDICAL SUPPORT OF THE ANABOLIC ORIENTATION  OF THE TRAINING PROCESS

The aim of the project is the introduction of a new drug-free approach to the problem of increasing stress efficiency during the high-class athletes` peak form.

Since entering the period of peak form (World Championships, European Championships, especially the license ones, the Olympics) an athlete faces the need of using of powerful and hard training loads, hormonal sphere of an athlete undergoes strong changes.

Even well-metered loads, food, thoughtful restoration can not protect athletes from catabolism. This is reflected in the fall of the main anabolic hormone testosterone and the large growth of the stress hormone - cortisol. The result is an unfavorable shift in the anabolic process in the direction of catabolism and a sharp decline, or the lack of effect of the training process. The sharp increase in sports achievements  was associated with an era of anabolic steroids and their metabolites, which resulted in numerous disqualifications. There are also acute cases of single-impact exercise on the body of an athlete with a sharp increase in stress levels and outrageous fall in testosterone level. The indicators of men-athletes are meant which meet after a single load normal testosterone level of women (as they are about 10 times below).

The logical question - what kind of physical performance can it be?

Testosterone has anabolic effects and cortisol has catabolic effects. In case of the increase in cortisol  the decrease in testosterone is observed. That is, an increase in cortisol and testosterone decline indicate a significant predominance of catabolic processes, and the fact that the intensity of metabolic processes greatly exceeds the norm. The result is the loss of weight, decreased muscle strength and endurance, decreased physical performance.

The increase of testosterone favours the anabolic effects of drugs.

A limited list of anabolic drugs may be used by female athletes. Primobolan, Proviron, Durabolin, Anavar, vistrol are among them (but they are dopes). Women should use small doses of drugs (no more than two at once) with a low androgenic effect. First they should take them for 6 weeks, then a break of several weeks to restore their own hormones. Then repeated doses are taken for 4-5 weeks. Then goes a break for the period of 2 months.

Concomitant factor for the implementation of the anabolic effect of the drugs and increased synthesis of testosterone is a specialized diet, rich in proteins or amino acids, because it forms the basis of newly synthesized proteins of their own. Inadequate protein intake leads to deficiency of structural proteins, blood proteins, immunoglobulins and eventually to immune deficiency, increased susceptibility to infections, reduce special performance.

We know how to increase anabolic orientation training without the use of prohibited drugs and methods.

The project's objective is to synchronize multi-level responses of the organism to stress impact of training. Based on the computer diagnosis, certified in Belarus is determined by the functional state of organs and systems. Based on the diagnosis a recipe of the effects of EHF-therapy (extremely - high-impact Hz - the range) is made in order to effect synchronization of multi-level response against the damaging effects of exercise and competitive stress.

Method used relates to high technologies, is a non-invasive, painless, non-proscribed, effective (the increase in testosterone level is from 25 to 75% and more of the original), controlled by a hormonal analyzer. Automated calculation of hormonal index with graphical image clearly displays the effect individually for each athlete.

It is possible also to simulate the desired situation (based on the actual specific indicators of hormonal background of an individual athlete).

PRACTICAL METHODS USED IN THE PREPARATION FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES 2010 IN VANCOUVER.

The objective is the introduction of a new drug-free approach to the problem of increasing efficiency and conservation stress tolerance during peak form entering the Olympic champions of winter sports.

There was established the concept of neuromodulation as the leading factor in an adequate response to the functional systems of the organism to stress influences.

This specific action-oriented system has a relationship with neuromodulation with neurotransmitters, hormones, other intermediates and xenobiotics.

The problem is reduced to the synchronization of multi-level response against the damaging effects.

Entirely new drugs were created (delargin, deltaran, sekmaks, selang, noopept - a group of peptides).

Some drugs of nepeptide nature - from groups of aktoprotektors, antigippoksants and antioxidants exhibit neuromodulator activity.

Neuromodulators are capable of increasing mental and physical efficiency and optimizing the adaptive response of the organism under the effect of damaging factors, which is especially relevant in the sphere of sports and the persons engaged in professional activities in extreme conditions.

Based on the computer, diagnostics of the method of  Riodoraku , certified in the Republic of Belarus, determines the functional state of organs and systems of the entire organism.

Based on the data from the diagnostic method of Riodoraku, the prescription of the effects EHF - therapy is made to obtain the effect of synchronization of multi-level response against the damaging effects of exercise and competitive stress.

Expected result: Increased stress relevance, maintaining high efficiency of the Belarusian Olympians - biathletes and skiers during the exit at the peak shape, landmark events and the XXI Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver (Canada).

Some problems were solved during the carrying out the work: a dynamic functional control over the preparations for the Winter Olympics athletes - Olympians, these kinds of sports, improving efficiency and stress resistance in preparation for the Olympics, the highest reading of the planned result athletes of these groups.

Baseline of somatotropin

  • On the first and second slide, you can see the original level of testosterone and somatotropin in 4 women athletes in cycling sport, leading the preparations for the Olympic Games 2010 in Vancouver.

    This is the period of submaximal loads.

    All athletes performed the same preparatory load followed by participation in the qualifying rounds.

    1st and 2nd athletes were not subjected to any influence, 3rd and 4th prepared according to the same plan with the provision of anabolic thrust of the training process.

    2 subsequent slides show the results of hormonal changes after 2 weeks of hard work.

Conclusions:

As a result of 15 week`s full-time work with a submaximal load:

Athlete 1: testosterone decline for 70.7%, growth hormone, a growth of 22,8%;

Athlete 2: testosterone decline for 44.1%, growth hormone, a growth of 7,3%;

Athlete 3: testosterone-growth of 94, 1%, growth hormone, a growth of 78, 2%;

Athlete 4: Testosterone -rise of 94, 7%, growth hormone, a growth of 73, 5%;
